Party Party Party at Quirky

What do you get when you have about 25 women, a business launch, a Quirky and Quaint Party, and of course champagne?

A CELEBRATION!!!!

This past Sunday I had a party at the lovely Mary's house, who is standing 2nd in from the right. In conjunction with her giving me the wonderful opportunity to present my beautiful collection, she too launched her stunning business Petit Et Beau.

Petit Et Beau business is all about specialising in event planning, candy buffets an adorable printable party decor....everything you need to create a party for your special little person.

Just by looking at the divine presentation and eye for detail, you can tell this is Mary's passion.

I couldn't post a blog with a sneak peek at party of the Quirky range displayed on the day.

This is why I also love having these parties, I love how the girls make an event from a Quirky party & celebrate. A perfect catch up with girlfriends.

Although Mary's was quite elaborate, my presentations Friday night at Nikki's & Saturday at Chelsea's all consisted of a glass of bubbles.

In general life is more fun with bubbles isn't it?

New product - Felt ball rug

I am so excited to be adding 2 new products to the Quirky collection & this is the first.

Felt Ball Rugs

Aren't they divine?

These rugs are made of 100% wool felt that have been dyed to perfection. Every ball is so soft yet firm & very durable. The size I will be selling is 90cm in diameter which is such a great size, perfect for the middle of the bedroom.

This lovely sample below will be taken with me to each of the Quirky parties so you can all feel & experience it yourselves.

Don't shy away as this will be an item that will truly last you forever, it will also be delivered for free. I have bought one for my daughter Charlotte's room for this very reason. My kids also did some testing on the rugs & their responses are very promising. You can read all about it here.

Easy to clean also;

Must be washed in cold water. Shrinkage will occur if hot water is used.

Spot clean for small stains

Felt ball mats are recommended with a dry clean once a year with regular vacuuming.

Spring has sprung & the Quirky party season has started

The month of September is turning out to be so busy with Quirky and Quaint bookings.

I am so happy and appreciative that I have manage to fill every Saturday and Sunday this month with gorgeous women wanting to see what a Quirky Party is all about. Week nights are starting to bubble to.

I had a party this past Saturday and decided to take some fabulous photo's to show you all what my presentations look like. To be honest it would be hard to not look amazing with all of the gorgeous brands available. All of these beauties are displayed on an everyday kitchen table and a white cotton cloth.

Every time these mobiles and hand cut garlands by Amelan, are hung, the intrigue matched with oohs and ahhhs are so promising, I love it.

My big launch date is August 20th.

Quirky & Quaint is a new business venture fuelled by my love and appreciation for uniqueness and handmade. Derived from my passion of children’s bedroom decor and accessories. Finding items that are unique and beautifully made makes my heart sing. I love knowing that these beauties can not be found in chain stores; it’s almost like finding my very own treasure.

I have been selling at markets for a few years now, and at every market it still blows my mind at the “Oohs” and “Ahhs” from customers, that are craving for something ‘different’ and always in search of items that are original, unique, and of course ‘Quaint & Quirky”.

Quirky & Quaint is a direct shopping business offering children’s bedroom decor and accessories, operating in a “party plan” fashion - Not to be shunned at, don’t tense up, this is truly an amazing shopping experience, consider it a

Offering a collaborative collection of handmade goods that are created mostly by women, many of them are stay at home mums, grasping the opportunity to earn an income, by selling products they are passionate about, while allowing them the flexibility to stay home with their children.

My goal is to support many new and existing handmade businesses, hoping to help take their business to the next level by creating exposure of their brand. The only way to do this I believe is by getting their product to the people, these are the people who don't have time to go to a market, or haven't yet experienced buying handmade online.

To do this I will also need your support.

To help this business grow and support the handmade industry, I will be looking for lovely people who would be interested in having a presentation in their home, an online catalogue party, or even as a fund raiser for their local kindergarten, sports team, dance club etc. There are of course hostess rewards, and it will be an excellent opportunity to get ahead on any Christmas shopping!
